.Old Town Signature. || 16th July 2010 ||

i recently went to eat at Old Town Signature in One Utama [New Wing].
why..? : because i was tooooo lazy to walk to the old wing. thats why. LOL
now...
im gonna tell you whats the difference between Old Town and Old Town Signature.


1. First thing first. There's no order chit on your table for you to fill in and later ask the waiter to pass it on to the kitchen. [or rather enter it into the system].
This means the waiters/waitresses themselves will be taking order from you.

2. YESSSSS. the glass is BIGger. <3
thank god. im sure many of you had and still are complaining about the petite glass they serve drinks in in Old Town. In Old Town Signature, the glasses are much taller.

3. This im not too sure. but i THINK the bowl is also bigger.. though it looks small here.
sorry for my noob photography skills. LOL
owh yeahh. the chopsticks are different too.
supposedly more classy i assume :S

4. yup. the chairs are more comfortable to sit on.
I remember how my friends and I always feel bad for big-sized customers in Old Town when we see them trying to squeeze their butt into the small stool.

5. Not forgetting nicer interior design and decorations.




owh and of course..! its definitely more pricey than the other Old Town. :S
They have more variety though. :D

.bak kut teh!. || 31st August 2009 ||

so everyone knew Klang is famous for its bak kut teh.
one of Malaysia's most special delicacy you cant get in any other country.

and also.
most recently, me and my mum are crazy over this tv programme 1day5meals, hosted by Angel Wong [Chui Ling].
where she spend only RM50 for one day of five meals [breakfast, lunch, teabreak, dinner, supper] to find delicious delicacies around KL

so this morning.
my parents and I woke up and decided that we should go try out one of her recommendations.
and we chose A.T. Seafood Bak Kut Teh Restaurant.

the restaurant occupies 3shophouses. at Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2, Klang.
just a 2minutes drive from the AEON Jusco Bukit Tinggi.

wait. before you go any further,
do refer to the address i provide as stated below.
and NOT the address on 1day5meals website.
because it took us one and a half hours going round and round that area looking for that shop..!
why, you ask..?
the address written on the website was Lorong Batu Nilam 2C, instead of 21C

this was what we ordered. :D



at lunchtime 1.00pm, the restaurant was a fullhouse.
all tables were occupied.


and the best thing is.
if you go with papa and mama, they can even pay by credit card..!

the food taste good,
the environment is cool, [air-conditioned]
the price is reasonable too. [RM47.50 for a serving for three and a teapot of free flow chinese tea]

its all thanks to Town Steamboat. =.=

went for this Town Steamboat in town yday.
at Macalister Road.
heard a few friends recommended.
its a bbq steamboat kinda thing
but not as user friendly as Seoul Garden though.
LOL. stupid la.

anyway, food was okay la.
not bad actually.
just that the environment was not nice la.
idk la.
maybe because we were rushing for time.
but the surrounding was..... erm. hot.
we were sweating like pigs.
already we ARE pigs. WakakA~

and after i went back, got bbq smell on my hair.
=.=
biasa lahhh.

but anyway, i dont think im going back there anymore.
firstly.
i dont like the heat. really
SG is much better.
with aircond.
secondly.
the foil thingy.
i no like.
i no like the oil.
i no like the red mark on my hand. x[
lets wait and see who's gonna poke the fluid out. grrrr.

disappointment for Msia..
esp badminton fans..

so many of you will say that i should be proud of our ChongWei that he made it to the Finals in the Olympics..
but heyy..
look at his performance mann..
its really bad..
and at certain point, he didnt even bother to stretch for the ball..

is RM1,000,000 too little for him..?
or was he thinking bout it too much sampai tak boleh concentrate..?
either way, his concentration was really somewhere else la i think..

what was he thinking mann..?
i mean Msians are so proud and happy that he made it that far..
and he cant even play a good game for us..?
and its not like he hadnt beaten LinDan before..
he did it for a few times already..!

so he is left with 300k..
still not bad la after all..

anyways did anyone noticed that he did shed some tears while on the podium..?
when receiving his medal..
and in fact he didnt even smiled a bit during the whole prize giving ceremony..
owh well.. guilt..?
LOLz.

anwaysss..
decided to congrats ChongWei for at least getting a silver medal for Msia in the 2008 Beijing Olympics..
and at least Msia's name will be in the [bottom of the] medal tally..


ps. another reason i was upset with his performance was because i skipped my dinner to watch that match..! zzz.

and we have the imitation one : Sushi Queen
for those of you who dont know where it is..
its at Megamall there..
outside the mall actually..
same row as StarView Restaurant..
note : Megamall is a mall on the mainland side for you Penangites (island ppl) who rarely come over to mainland side..

and there's also Burger King..
so is there any Burger Queen anywhere..?
maybe there is one somewhere..
but i now declare my own Burger Queen outlet.. LOL.

you know the Malay burger stall at the Gurney roundabout..?
that one la Burger Queen..! LOL.

today's my brobro's bday^^
2nd brother..

he's 22 d this year..
been spending more time with him recently..
and i love and cherish every moment of it..
because at one point we were really like separated or something..
probably because he was away at TARC [not really far la.. but still he was away from home rite]..
and also because of his weird working hours during the weekends..
when im awake, he's not up yet..
when he's up, im already asleep..

so anyway, last night we went to Sushi King..
at Auto City..
together with Kenny [our cousin]..

so you might be wondering why dinner last night..
and not tonight..
because tonight he's out with his friends..! LOL.
isnt it obvious..?? xDD

and this year is probably the first year he had his birthday dinner WITHOUT our parents..
parents are away in KL/BB..
we're missing them badly honestly.. ='[
last year his bday was just a simple one..
but it was his 21st bday..
so my parents gave him a gold pendant of a key and the number 21 on it..
its like a tradition or somethin la..
the key symbolises freedom or somethin..
my eldest bro got one toO when he was 21..
and he still wears them till now [he's 27 already]..
anywayssss. saja ja put the title Sushi King cause lama tak makan d.. HahA^^

so today i had sch..
some replacement for the one week holidays during the Raya week..
attendance wasnt really good..
only half the class..

and Tracey bought McD for me..

and another for herself..
she didnt want the coffee so she gave it to me..
in trade, i gave her my hashbrown..

the coffee wasnt packed properly so it spilled a bit..
her table kena..
then was asking around for tissue..
then i told her "inside the plastic bag got tissue kann..??"
sweatt. dumb dumb a bit morning morning.. LOL
esp on Saturday.. HahA..!

anyway, i took the two cups of coffee [and the McEgg of course] back to class..
wanted to drink but had to go to the Maths Lab..
got topical test.. +.+
so i just left them there..

when i came back, i started to put creamer in it..
what i forgot was that the coffee wasnt hot anymore..
only warm a bit..
so the damn creamer cant dissolve..!
another dumb dumb on a Saturday morning..
HahA~~!

so nvm la..
stir stir stir stir sampai at least can dissolve more or less..
then drank it..

after Mr Ooi's class, got English..
so tak sempat makan the burger lorr..
drank the next cup of coffee..
this time not so stupid d.. LOL.
i didnt put creamer terus..
lagi senangg.. HahA..
