so listen [or rather read].. this is the how it wentt...

on Monday, we left for the National English Drama Interschool Competition held in Labuan..
nothing much happened on the first day..
all in all, we just travelled the whole day..
touched down in Labuan Airport at about 8.30 at night..
went straight to Beta Apartment..
where we stayed for the next 3days..

unfortunately, we were separated into 3 diff units..
there was 6 in my unit, 5 in Steph's and 4 in Quraisyia's..
each unit has 3rooms..
and my unit became the meeting place because my room has the most ppl..
and my unit was vacant till Wednesday noon because the Melaka ppl only came in then..

so anywayss..
the rehearsal was on Tuesday..
[i've even blogged bout it in the previous post.. LOLz.]

semifinals were on Wednesday..
we were in the afternoon half..
so we get to watch the first half perform..
or rather only 5/8 of it..
honestly, there was less competition in the first half..
we [in the second half] were so scared we couldnt make it into the finals..
but we made it through anyways.. LOLz.

so only 6 teams made it into the finals..
3 from the morning half ; Negeri Sembilan, Kuala Lumpur, Perak
and another 3 from the afternoon half ; Penang, Selangor, Melaka

and then the teachers went to draw lots to determine which turn we'll be in for the finals on Thursday..
we got number3 actually..
but had to trade it with Melaka so that we'll get number1..

BECAUSEEEEE..
our team have to leave immediately after our performance..
why..?
okay now i tell you why..
its the JPN Penang's fault la i suppose..
they book the plane ticket leaving Labuan for KL 10.40am on the last day of competition..!
WTF..?! they think we cant make it into the finalz is it..?!

so it was decided the night before that only me, as vice captain will stay with Pn Goh and Cik Maznah [the PG team ketua kontingen] for the closing and prize giving ceremony..
Quraisyia, the captain, couldnt stay because she has a paper on Friday morning..

so anyways.. we didnt get Top3..
didnt get the Best Script or Best Performer award either..
we really thought we can get the Best Script award actually..
owh well.....

so we each get a mini trophy and a participation cert..
the sch gets a trophy toO..

now about Labuan..
just in case you dont know yet..
Labuan is real pathetic..
LOLz. no offence Labuan ppl~! xDD
there's only one mall ; Kompleks Ujana Kewangan..
which is adjacent to our Beta Apartment.. [thank GOD~!]
no cineplex.. or even a cinema.. LOLz.
got one bowling alley..
which errrr... is quite not in good condition.. LOLz.
and apparently this bowling alley is the only place that's open till 2.00am in the morning..
there's no place in Labuan for you to hang out at night..
not even a place for a drink..
definitely no mamakz.. HahAz.
so you can imagine how bored it is in Labuan.. xDD
the only good thing is that its duty free~~! =]]

ps. still upset over some very unfair result..
we didnt think they can actually get through to the finalz..
tengok tengok get top3 some more.. zzz.
but just gotta bear with it..
judges decision are final..? =|

anyways.. congrats to all 15 drama team members..
not forgetting our teachers' guidance as well..
its a great achievement actually..
for this is actually the first time making it to the nationals..
and yet we got into the top6.. =]]

so im currently in Labuan now..
today's the second day..
yday travelled a WHOLE day..
left PG airport at 12.30..
waited at LCCT for 4hours.. zzz
then boarded the AirAsia to Labuan at 5.30 which only took of at 6.30.. zzz

slept at 4.00am last night/this morning..
woke up at 5.40am..
suppose to wait for Quraisyia and gang to arrive at 5.40am to bath in my room..
but she arrived only at 6.00am.. zzz

so anyway i got up of my bed at 5.50am..
went to the balcony window pane and OPEN THE CURTAINSSS..!
WoOhoO~! it was bright day light..
mind you Labuan is actually in a diff time zone..
only that we standardise it..
so their 6.00am looks like 8.00am on the Peninsular Msia..

next i went to all the rooms and ON THE LIGHTS.
wake everyone up..!!! =]]
im evilllll.. i knoww.. xDD

after breakfast at 7.30am [at a very stuffy place]..
we went for our rehearsal..

during rehearsal..
we were given only 30minutes..
ONLY 30minutes..
nothing more..
so we try out many things..
for one is the voice projection..
its not really good.. seriously..
but owh welll..
we just gotta try our best..
and the worst thing is that the lightings system is not really working..
aihzz..

after rehearsal..
we went back to my room..
room 306.
we had a discussion..
about where to spend the whole day.. LOLz.
because we have the whole day free..
nyek nyek..

sooooooo..
here i amm..
just came back from a tour round d island..
LABUANNNNN.
i'll die there..
one big problem : NO CINEMA/THEATRE/CINEPPLEX
grrrr.. mana boleh survive..?? LOLz

now discussing about shopping..
for your info, the word chocolate and shopping was banned from 12.00noon till 3.00pm.. LOLz.

okay.
disappointment for Msia..
esp badminton fans..

so many of you will say that i should be proud of our ChongWei that he made it to the Finals in the Olympics..
but heyy..
look at his performance mann..
its really bad..
and at certain point, he didnt even bother to stretch for the ball..

is RM1,000,000 too little for him..?
or was he thinking bout it too much sampai tak boleh concentrate..?
either way, his concentration was really somewhere else la i think..

what was he thinking mann..?
i mean Msians are so proud and happy that he made it that far..
and he cant even play a good game for us..?
and its not like he hadnt beaten LinDan before..
he did it for a few times already..!

so he is left with 300k..
still not bad la after all..

anyways did anyone noticed that he did shed some tears while on the podium..?
when receiving his medal..
and in fact he didnt even smiled a bit during the whole prize giving ceremony..
owh well.. guilt..?

anwaysss..
decided to congrats ChongWei for at least getting a silver medal for Msia in the 2008 Beijing Olympics..
and at least Msia's name will be in the [bottom of the] medal tally..


ps. another reason i was upset with his performance was because i skipped my dinner to watch that match..! zzz.

the nationals is drawing nearer..
and everyone is getting more tensed up..
i do mean EVERYONE.

and the worst part is..
today we had a meeting..
where a member ended up crying..
honestly we didnt intend to make her cry..
just maybe some words are just toO harsh..
seriously..
it makes her feel guilty..

but still.. we love each other..

hope the practices during the hols will work all well.. and productive..
and that our performance at the nationals will turn out really good..

i think this is the first year mum celebrate her birthday without her kids..?

had a one and a half hours ballet class just now..
suppose to be two person..
but Jia Wei came like 45 minutes late so i had to do the first half on my own..
and of course when you're the only one there, the instructor concentrate fully on you..
whats more the exam is just around the corner..

i was so tired..

i think im overworked..

today SGGS had its Speech Day [Hari Anugerah Cemerlang]..
as usual la the state governor [is this how i spell it..?] was present..
and because of him, the whole sch gotta prepare like hell for the past two weeks..

i dont get it..
why does he have to be all THAT great..
even the chair that he sits on pun kena special mia..
got the Penang logo.. =.=

and everywhere he jalan kena ada red carpet..
[the students had to spread out the red carpet right from the place where he gets down from his car, into the hall, out of the hall to the dining area]
bukan senang tau..
the red carpet dah la heavy..

but of course, the whole event had nothing to do with me..
i had been in this sch for the past 5years and tak pernah get on stage to get any prize before..
not that smart yet..? LOL..!

so i spent the whole day lepaking here and there with Nian Wah..
OMG la i tell you..
susah betul wanna walk or lepak with her..
there's like SOOOO many ppl who admires/into her..

the worst was when we first walked to the canteen..
MOST of the students there turned and look at her.. [and me..?]
what the hell..
admire pun takyah la until so over..!
she's just another TB thats [maybe] more handsome/cute/pretty/bergaya/wtv you call it..
